Don't say it. When I looked today I was so ashamed. I haven't blogged once in 2010! How is that possible? No sense dwelling on it the story is still the same. Anyone who knows me knows I love to write, but child, these two babies are kicking my butt! They are babies to me, although they are 10 and 8. So here's the update: my baby girl will be 9 on Saturday, we just got back from a road trip to North Carolina, my son loves basketball and is addicted to his PSP, the summer is almost over before it began, and I am sick of working 10-hour days this summer.
The road trip was wonderful, but it did remind me of the one thing that still seems to elude me as a parent - patience. Patience with them, patience with myself and then that lack of patience leads to guilt. I mean let's face it, we all know I am raising a special needs child right? And no one knows it better than I do. But still I find myself asking my daughter really stupid questions like, "what possessed you to throw that?" or, "why in the world did you that in your mouth?" I already know the answer, she has absolutely no clue!!!
PS: Keep me honest: I promise to blog again this week if I don't send me an e-mail and fuss! But please, be patient with me (ha, ha)!
Good post, I will mention it on my blog.. Cheers
